Mr. Yuriy Butsa – Member of the Supervisory Board, representative of the State from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine

Education:

Graduate of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy National University with a bachelor's degree (2005) and of the Central European University in Budapest with a master's degree (2008).

Background:

Immediately after graduation, began working for the State Commission on Securities and Stock Market.

Upon returning from Hungary in 2008, held the position of Deputy Director of the Warsaw Stock Exchange Representative Office, responsible for raising capital for Ukrainian companies.

Since 2010, has been working as a coordinator at the Coordination Center for Economic Reforms, supporting the development of legislation aimed at improvement of corporate governance in joint stock companies, introduction of new instruments in the financial market, the banking sector development and business climate improvement.

Since 2015, has been a Member of the National Commission on Securities and Stock Market, dealing, among other issues, with corporate governance and corporate finance, implementation of the EU directives into Ukrainian legislation and improvement of the stock market instruments’ functioning.

On May 5, 2016, was appointed the Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine for European Integration.

On July 26, 2018, by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, was relieved from his position of the Deputy Minister of Finance for European Integration and appointed a Government Commissioner for Public Debt Management.

In June 2019, was appointed a member of the Supervisory Board of JSC "Ukreximbank".
