Ukreximbank joins the global Women Entrepreneurs Finance Code (WE Finance Code) initiative, aimed at expanding access to finance for women-led businesses and developing a more inclusive business environment.
“This step is part of our consistent approach to supporting entrepreneurship. As a bank, we are committed to backing initiatives that enable women to start and grow their businesses, scale operations, and build resilience – even in challenging conditions,” noted Viktoriia Masna, Member of the Management Board.

Why this matters today
Amid the full-scale war, the role of women in Ukraine’s economy has significantly increased. According to Opendatabot, in 2025, 61% of newly registered sole proprietors were women.
This highlights not only a high level of entrepreneurial activity, but also a growing need for comprehensive support – financial, educational, and partnership-based.
