The state-owned Ukreximbank has once again confirmed its status as one of the leaders in the financial sector by winning in the “Efficiency in NPA and NPL Management” category of the prestigious “TopFinance2026” ranking, organized by Delo.ua and the magazine Top-100: Best Ratings.
On March 4, an award ceremony was held based on the results of 2025, with the participation of Pavel Hashkovets, Member of the Management Board of Ukreximbank JSC.
This is the third consecutive year that Ukreximbank has received this recognition. The ranking organizers highlighted the Bank’s strong performance in managing distressed and non-core assets.
In 2025, the Bank secured UAH 5.1 billion in repayments of distressed debt, which is UAH 2 billion more than the previous year. This achievement became possible thanks to extensive changes introduced after the arrival of the new management team in mid‑2024. The transformation continues.
“State-owned banks face more regulatory restrictions in working with distressed and non-core assets than private banks, which complicates achieving strong results. However, despite this, we have reached a level where we operate more efficiently than even privately owned banks. New tools, processes, decisions, and most importantly — the people who take the right steps — are the foundation of these achievements. Effective management of distressed and non-core assets is a key prerequisite for realizing our ambition to become the main Bank for the reconstruction and development of the country,” noted Pavel Hashkovets.
In addition, Ukreximbank won first place in the ‘Best Documentary Operations’ category and also received awards in the following categories:
