Ukreximbank Held an Anniversary Donor Day: 60 Participants and Over 27 Liters of Blood

27/02/2026

On February 25, the state-owned Ukreximbank held its tenth anniversary corporate Donor Day. The initiative, which has already become an integral part of the Bank’s corporate culture, this time brought together a record number of volunteers — 60 employees of the head office.

Donor Day Results

During the event, more than 27 liters of blood were collected, which will be used to treat:

  • wounded service members,
  • civilians injured in shelling,
  • patients with severe illnesses.

The event’s traditional partner was the Kyiv City Blood Center, which currently performs important mobilization tasks and requires constant replenishment of blood and its components.

“Donorship is our shared contribution to victory — to our future. It is not just a medical procedure, but a conscious gesture of solidarity and support. And it is already becoming part of our culture of responsibility, mutual assistance, and gratitude to those who defend our country,” said Viktoriia Masna, Member of the Management Board of Ukreximbank.

A Donor Movement That Has Become a Tradition

Donor Day at Ukreximbank is not a one-time event, but a long-term social responsibility program that has established a strong culture of mutual support among employees.

Program Achievements Over the Years

  • more than 20 mobile donor sessions conducted;
  • one employee donated plasma nearly 50 times and received the “Super Donor” award;
  • the first corporate Donor Day held at the office in 2023 gathered 36 participants and over 16 liters of blood;
  • in 2023–2025, employees donated over 136 liters of blood to medical institutions during eight donor days.

Social Responsibility in Action

"In my opinion, this is a convenient and at the same time extremely important way to say ‘thank you’ to our military — to support everyone who has suffered from this terrible war. It is our small but incredibly meaningful contribution to our common cause. Blood donation is not just a symbol of support, but a real opportunity to save lives, help the wounded recover faster, and give a chance for the future to those who risk everything for us every day," said Yuliia Nebesenko, Director of the Internal Audit Department.

The anniversary Donor Day once again confirmed: for the Ukreximbank team, social responsibility is not a slogan but real actions and a tangible contribution to supporting the country in its most challenging times.
