Ukreximbank has signed a Memorandum of Understanding regarding cooperation with Verne Capital — a German-Luxembourg fund that invests in technologies for defence, security, and cybersecurity. The goal of the partnership is to strengthen Ukraine’s economic, energy, logistics, and national security through the development of innovation and attraction of international investment.
Verne Capital has deep expertise in defence and critical technologies. The fund’s team has many years of experience in the investment market, has implemented successful projects (M&A, IPO), and has established to a powerful advisory board that includes former NATO generals and executives of leading European defence companies. The fund supports startups developing solutions to protect infrastructure, counter modern threats, and enhance Europe’s technological resilience.
For industrial partners, Verne Capital offers access to advanced defence technologies, opportunities for joint solution development, and integration into the European defence ecosystem.
The signed Memorandum will form the basis for joint projects and the development of Ukraine’s innovation ecosystem, as well as for deepening cooperation with European markets.
