Ukreximbank and the Association of Frontline Cities and Communities have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at supporting the economic recovery of territories affected by hostilities.
The Memorandum establishes a framework for developing public partnership between the Bank and local government bodies of frontline communities. The primary objective of this cooperation is to improve access for local businesses and communities to financial resources, stimulate economic growth, and support recovery projects.
“For our Bank, supporting frontline communities is not only an important area of activity but also part of our responsibility to the country. The signing of this Memorandum will enable us to join forces with local government bodies to ensure access to financial resources, accelerate infrastructure recovery, and create conditions for business development even in the most challenging environment,” – noted Viktor Ponomarenko, Chairman of the Management Board.
“We know better than anyone the price at which the country’s resilience is ensured today—under shelling, air strikes, and in close proximity to the front line. Our task is to make sure that all Ukrainian communities remain places of life, where people want to live, work, raise children, and build their future. I am confident that together we will achieve this—Ukraine will undoubtedly become a country of peace and prosperity,” stated Ihor Terekhov, Head of the Association of Frontline Cities and Communities and Mayor of Kharkiv.

The Association of Frontline Cities and Communities of Ukraine (AFCC) is a nationwide platform designed to strengthen cooperation among local government bodies in frontline territories to protect people and ensure the development of communities that operate daily under wartime conditions.
