Please be informed that due to the record increase in the number of COVID-19 coronavirus cases in Ukraine and taking into account the recommendations of the UK government on travel to Ukraine, international recruitment company Korn Ferry (UK) appealed to JSC “Ukreximbank” with a request to approve changes to the timeline of Korn Ferry's First stage of the competitive selection for the position of Chairperson of the Management Board of JSC “Ukreximbank”.

In full compliance with JSC “Ukreximbank” official announcement of the start of the competition, the submission of documents by candidates to Korn Ferry ended on January 21, 2022. Accordingly, Korn Ferry has identified a long list of participants in the competitive selection.

Please be reminded that during the First stage of the competitive selection process, which is currently underway, Korn Ferry, based on the long list of participants:

(1) analyzes the submitted documents;

(2) conducts psychometric testing of those participants who best meet the requirements of the CEO competitive selection; and

(3) conducts interviews with those participants who best meet the requirements of the CEO competitive selection, including discusses their vision of the bank's development.

Based on the results of such analysis, research and interviews, Korn Ferry will determine the so-called short-list of participants who best meet the requirements of the competition.

In an appeal to the Supervisory Board regarding the need to extend the first stage of the competitive selection process, Korn Ferry’s project manager Andrew Simpson gave assurances that these changes will not affect the professionalism, objectivity and fairness of the process of determining the short-list.

Having considered Korn Ferry's appeal, the Supervisory Board decided to postpone the deadline for Korn Ferry's submission to the Nomination and Remuneration Committee of the Bank's Supervisory Board of a short list of participants to February 21, 2022.

Accordingly, the final stage of the selection process - interviews of the finalists with the Supervisory Board of the Bank – will take place on March 2, 2022.

FOR CONTEXT: As previously reported, on December 1, 2021, JSC “Ukreximbank” signed an agreement with the international organizational and consulting company Korn Ferry, which is conducting the process of selecting candidates for the position of the Chairperson of the Management Board.

The selection of an international recruitment company with an impeccable reputation was due to the firm intention of the Supervisory Board to ensure the highest degree of transparency and independence of the competitive selection process.
