The Bank has the Loan Facility from Kreditanstalt fur Wiederaufbau (KfW) to provide financial support to Ukrainian small and medium sized enterprises (SME Programme).
Loan Agreement was signed in 1998.
The agreement envisaged medium and long-term loans for investment projects to small and medium private business by direct sub-loans or sub-loans channeled via other Ukrainian banks.
The programme was aimed at financing SME projects for modernization of production facilities, or expansion of business activity, through acquisition of edifices and buildings, equipment and outfit, construction and transportation facilities, etc.
Total amount of credit line was DEM 30mln (EUR 15.34 mln).
175 projects were approved and financed in the amount of EUR 31.7 million.
New Loan Agreement in the amount of EUR 40.0 million was signed in 2008.
