Environmental review procedures for the Second Export Development Project
The Joint Stock Company “The State Export-Import Bank of Ukraine” and the World Bank and will support the Second Export Development Project (EDP-2) that will focus on providing medium to longer term financial resources to private exporters through the selected eligible Ukrainian banks – participating financial institutions (PFIs). Due to the nature of the project the World Bank requires that an environmental assessment of the project to be undertaken. Moreover, the Environmental Review Procedures should be used by the PFIs in preparing the sub-projects to be financed under the EDP-2. The Environmental Review Procedures has been prepared and is available herewith for the general public’s review (in English and Ukrainian).
