During the solemn Ceremony held on April 4, 2008 in Tokyo with participation of Mr. Kapustin, Chairman of the Board of JSC Ukreximbank the Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Joint Stock Company The State Export-Import Bank of Ukraine and its long standing partner - the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. (BTMU), the top bank of Japan.

Many years experience of cooperation between JSC Ukreximbank and BTMU was marked by fruitful cooperation in financing perspective Ukrainian-Japanese projects under a credit line opened by The Japan Bank of International Cooperation (JBIC), successful transactions in international capital markets, effecting settlements between enterprises of two countries and participation in financing of International Airport Boryspil development project important for Ukraine.

The Memorandum expands and livens up cooperation based on equality, mutual benefit and understanding between two financial institutions, primarily in the field of international structured and trade finance, arranging syndicated loans, implementation of efficient joint credit projects and other activities. The parties to the Memorandum agreed to consolidate their potential and experience for promotion of prospective banking products. The cooperation between JSC Ukreximbank and BTMU is deemed to be focused on investment activities and financial advice.
