March 17, 2007 – The Council of “The Personality of the Year” National Programme named Ukreximbank Chairman of the Board Viktor Kapustin Financier of the Year in Ukraine. 

“The Personality of the Year” National Programme launched back in 1995 was the first nation-wide rating project and its annual recognition award remains the most prestigious in Ukraine. The large in number council of independent and authoritative experts assign the “Prometheus-Prestige” award to true leaders of Ukraine in all the key areas of social life. 

In his ceremony speech Chairman Kapustin noted that the reward is a joint success of Ukreximbank team. “In 2005 and 2006 Ukreximbank has been recognized the Best Bank of the Year by “The Banker” and “Global Finance”. Joint analyses Transparency and Disclosure Survey of Ukrainian Banks in 2006 and Corporate Governance in Ukrainian Banking Sector in 2006 held by Standard & Poor’s international rating agency and Ukrainian Financial Initiatives Agency resulted in the highest expert appraisal of Ukreximbank as the most transparent financial institution. Our performance is highly estimated both in Ukraine and in the international market. These achievements would hardly be possible without harmonious activity of our whole team. The personnel of the bank is by no means its most precious capital”, - noted Chairman Kapustin.
