15 years ago, on January 3, 1992 the first President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk has signed Decree on Foundation of the State Export-Import Bank of Ukraine. On January 22, 1992 the bank has obtained its first banking license from the central regulator – the National Bank of Ukraine.

According to President Leonid Kravchuk, the decision on foundation of Ukreximbank has been taken because an independent state required strengthening of its banking system. “I am grateful to the management of the bank and its chairmen for the awareness of their high responsibility to Ukraine. I wish to congratulate Ukreximbank and every member of its team” – President Kravchuk noted. 

Today Ukreximbank is one of the leading universal banks in Ukraine with impeccable reputation well-known both locally and internationally.
