The State Statistics Committee of Ukraine reported the increase in volume of industrial products at 12.5% in 2004 compared to 2003. Manufacturing grew at 14.6% and mining industry – at 4.1%
Machinery building has shown the highest growth rate – 28%, including 49.5% in production of electric and electronic equipment, 24.6% in production of transport equipment
